Why WMG, not them
Most online hair services
are a pharmacy with a logo.
We're a Harley Street clinic that happens to dispense medication. The difference shows in every clinical review.
Typical online service
A quiz. A box. A monthly auto-renew.
- Questionnaire reviewed by a remote signer
- Same starter pack for almost everyone
- Re-order prompts when stock runs low
- Third-party warehouse fulfilment
- No bloodwork unless you ask
The Harley Street way
A doctor. A plan. A journey.
- Reviewed by a named GMC-registered doctor
- Plan tailored to your stage, history, goals
- Scheduled follow-up reviews built-in
- Delivered to your door, 134 Harley Street
- Bloodwork via WMG Healthcare when needed
Find your starting point
Where are you in your hair loss journey?
The journey is the same. The right starting point isn't. Pick the one that fits.
"I'm just starting to notice it"
Some shedding, a widening parting, a receding hairline. Best time to act.
Start with the Essentials plan →"I've been losing hair for a while"
Established or progressing loss. Combination therapy usually fits best.
Look at the Advanced plan →"I've tried treatments that didn't work"
Sometimes the wrong regimen, sometimes the wrong dose. We'll work out which.
Get started →"I'm planning or post-transplant"
Pre-op bloodwork, post-op medication, long-term graft protection.

Why WMG Meds?
A real doctor signs every prescription
Our clinicians are GMC-registered and work under Westminster Medical Group. Every script is reviewed against your full medical history and signed by a named doctor, not a remote rubber-stamper.
We sit inside a proper clinical group
WMG Meds is part of Westminster Medical Group, the CQC-registered clinical provider that has been looking after private patients on Harley Street for years. The standard of care is the same.
Dispensed by our UK pharmacy partner
Your prescription is reviewed and signed by a GMC-registered doctor under Westminster Medical Group, then dispensed by our UK pharmacy partner under clinical supervision and sent direct to you. No anonymous warehouses, no untraceable supply chain.
A plan that adjusts as you do
Hair takes time. Your clinician follows up at scheduled checkpoints, adjusts doses, swaps medications if needed, and flags anything that warrants further investigation.
What you get with your WMG hair loss plan
Every patient gets the same standard of care that Westminster Medical Group patients have had for years, adapted for hair restoration.
Clinician-prescribed
Every prescription is signed off by a GMC-registered doctor after a proper clinical review.
Clinical review by a doctor
Your case is reviewed against your declared medical history by a GMC-registered doctor working under Westminster Medical Group. No appointment, no waiting room.
Delivered to your door
Your medication is dispensed directly from our clinic under clinical supervision, not a faceless online pharmacy.
Ongoing reviews built in
Every plan includes scheduled clinical check-ins so we can adjust your treatment based on how you actually respond.
Confidential
Standard clinical record-keeping. Discreet packaging if you opt for delivery, and your card statement shows only "Westminster Medical Group".
Bloodwork when it matters
For more complex cases we run a blood panel via WMG Healthcare. The right markers can save months of guessing.
The medications we prescribe
Evidence-based treatments with decades of clinical data behind them. Your clinician decides which combination is appropriate during clinical review.
Oral, once daily
Finasteride
Blocks the 5-alpha reductase enzyme that converts testosterone to DHT. Lowering DHT slows or reverses the follicle miniaturisation that drives male pattern hair loss.
When prescribed: First-line treatment for androgenetic alopecia. Used in most Essentials and Advanced plans where clinically appropriate.
Topical or oral
Minoxidil
Extends the active growth phase of the hair cycle and improves blood flow to the follicle. The full mechanism is still being studied but the clinical evidence is strong.
When prescribed: Used alongside other treatments in combination therapy, or on its own where the first-line option is not suitable. Licensed topical formulations are available for both men and women; suitability is decided at clinical review.
Oral, when indicated
Dutasteride
A more potent DHT blocker than finasteride, suppressing both type-1 and type-2 of the 5-alpha reductase enzyme. Used selectively in patients who under-respond to finasteride alone.
When prescribed: Considered case-by-case during clinical review. Not first-line; prescribed only when clinically warranted.
How it works
From first enquiry to medication in hand, usually within a week.

Common questions
A few of the most-asked. See the full FAQ page for more.
Do I need a GP referral?
No. WMG Meds is a direct-access service. You can start the assessment and have a GMC-registered doctor review your case without going through your GP.
How long until I see results?
Hair takes time to respond and individual results vary. Your clinician will set realistic expectations when the plan is set and review your progress on a regular schedule.
How is hair loss medication dispensed?
Following clinical review, if treatment is appropriate, your medication is dispensed and delivered to you discreetly to you.
What if treatment doesn't work for me?
Your clinician will review you regularly and adjust the plan based on response. If treatment isn't working, we have other options including combination therapies and onward referral for transplant assessment.
